Why do you learn English?
This March, I wanted to quit my job, but I didn’t know what I could do. And then, one of my friends introduced me to her boss. The boss told me if I wanted to join his company, my English must be very good, because their customers are all foreigners, so he recommended Omeida to me, that’s why I learn English.
Do you have any difficulties in learning English?
Yes, I have. Firstly, my pronunciation isn’t good enough. Secondly, My vocabulary is limited. But I think when I leave, I will try my best to keep studying very hard in order to improve my pronunciation and expend my vocabulary.
Did you change a lot after you had studied in YangShuo?
Of course! I have changed a lot. For example, I didn’t know how to chat with others in English. I didn’t even dare to talk to anyone. But now I have the confidence to speak English. Besides, I’ve made many good foreign friends. They will invite me to visit their home if I go to their country.
Can you share your experience in learning English?
Yes, I am glad to share it. I think the two important things in learning English are speaking loudly and making sentences. Reading lessons can help you practice pronunciation and remember new words. If you read enough, you will speak more fluently. Making sentences with the words you have learnt can help you master grammar.
What’s your unforgettable experience while studying in Omeida?
My most unforgettable experience was in September. During that time, I often went to Bamboo Bar for chatting with many foreigners. We sat around a big table, sang, chatted, played games until midnight. I have got a lot of unforgettable memories in that time.
